I am delighted to welcome all of you here in Bhubaneswar today on the eve of Utkarsh Odisha – Make in Odisha Conclave 2025.
The role of Confederation of Indian Industries, as the National Industry Partner for this event, is invaluable and we are immensely grateful for your partnership.
As we look forward to the commencement of the Make in Odisha Conclave 2025 tomorrow, we are filled with immense optimism. Today, Odisha is the rising star of the East. It is emerging as a key player in India’s industrial ecosystem.
Odisha stands tall as a vigorous partner to script success as a means of its diversified industrial empowerment. It is the cynosure of solidarity and spirited growth, with a glittering progress.
I take this opportunity to invite each one of you to actively participate in realizing this vision. Our commitment remains firm, in ensuring that, Odisha remains a preferred destination, for both global and domestic investors.
As the Chief Minister, my primary objective is to create massive opportunities for the people, especially our youth.
I am inclined to steer the government towards creating a conducive business-friendly ecosystem that is a win-win for all. My vision is simple, yet ambitious: to attract industrial investments, create jobs and ensure sustainable economic growth for the people of Odisha.
In pursuit of our vision of a Samrudh Odisha by 2036, we have taken several initiatives, to position Odisha as an industrial hub.
We have adopted a three-pronged approach-Developing Robust Industrial Infrastructure, Championing Ease of Doing Business and Advocating for Large-scale Job Creation.
In our own budget, we have earmarked substantial resources, for critical infrastructure projects. Our focus is to provide world-class infrastructure and ready-to-use plug-and-play facilities for companies wishing to set up industrial units in Odisha.
Furthermore, we have streamlined our regulatory processes to fast-track industrial approvals and clearances.
This will boost the sector and will be instrumental, for our economic juggernaut in the coming days. We never dream to succeed but our success has dreams to cherish. And we hope, we can crystalize the industrial upliftment, with all of you in our side .
We believe in a transparent and accountable government where every investor is treated as a valued partner. My doors will always be open for discussions on your success stories, challenges and grievances as part of your journey with us.
My team is dedicated to offering a world-class experience to anyone wishing to invest in Odisha. We aim to make Odisha, the state, that offers not only Ease of Doing Business but also lower Cost of Doing Business.
Most importantly, industrialization in Odisha is not merely about investment in plants and infrastructure but also, about investing in the people of Odisha.
Our core agenda is to generate quality employment opportunities for our people and provide them with the necessary skills and support to help them access high-quality jobs anywhere.

It would be great honour for all of us to host our Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi Ji, at the inaugural session tomorrow.
